My name is Colin Walker and I am now a member of the Iconic Japan team.
While I have been planning and executing my own passion to bring Japan’s best hand crafted goods to the world for some time now, it has now become about Japanese Antiques, actually Kakejiku or Japanese painted scrolls to be exact. Working with Mr. Justin Ginther and Mr. Miles from Iconic Japan…. I have embarked on what may become a new calling and this could become bigger than anyone imagined. Mr. Ginther is an absolute pro at finding and sourcing the best antiques in Japan and with kakejiku / scrolls this is no different. I have been with him to one of the many local auctions in which he attends and we began to find some amazing art to share with the world. The below are some shots of myself in action as I take the original product and categorize, lightly clean and prepare it for online sales.

This new future takes me into the past of Japan, something I have always had an interest in but now I have a vested interest in learning more about the various art forms and styles of the last four time periods in Japan.
